Incorrect Password on Codeplug Read

I'm at a loss. I've processed 3 radios today, utilizing the same method. I get to radio 4, and I get the "Invalid Password" error on reading the radio. What am I missing? The screenshot below shows the password, as it did for the previous 3 radios. Granted, they were all different passwords, but the model and firmware was the same on all devices. Also attempted the same procedure on two different computers. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Maybe I just need moar coffee.

Must be old firmware if you are seeing anything with Wireshark.... Strange the last one doesn't want to play though.

They are a bit older. The version where the codeplug PW is visible, but the BP & EP keys are not. Kinda frustrating. Really wish I could get the keys from these things, but password is just as important.

Speaking of that, I am new to TRBO so forgive my ignorance... Would a firmware downgrade or even refresh of the current version fix this kind of issue or would it wipe out the codeplug in the radio?

how many full stops are you using. We used to put more in, to confuse people using wireshark. so p.a.s..s..w..o..r..d. is in fact pas.s.w.o.r.d

Not sure what the issue is/was, but we got passed it. what's shown in the screenshot was the correct password: r.a.d.i.

Who knows...
