Key ID displaying on each received PTT

This may be a new problem with firmware just updated (21.64), but just getting complaints that the key name is flashing on the receiving radios screen every time a user on the network transmits. I have gone into CPS (22.00.05) Secure Config/Secure Wide/Multikey and set Display on Secure Switch, Display on PTT, and Display on Mode Change all to Disabled. I have even dialed back the Key ID Rx and Tx hangtime to 0 msec. I have also unchecked the box for User Selectable Keyset. Nothing seems to keep the key name from displaying on each PTT. All our secure channels (AES256) are strapped and we don't need user selectable keys, so the key name on the display is of no value and just confuses the users. No one complained about this until we updated to 21.64. Seeing this on 6000s, 6500, 7000s, and 8000s. Any suggestions?

Sounds like another bug in the firmware. The KID should only display on mode change/ your PTT or enable/disable encryption. it may happen if you have scan enabled but that dosnt sound like your issue.

Just curious, is this on trunked or conventional channels, or both?

Trunked. Haven't tried conventional. Not scanning.

It's not a true fix but changing Temporary message display time in Radio Ergonomics -> Display -> Advanced to the minimum (250 ms) may help it be less annoying.

Just as an update, Motorola has been able to duplicate the problem and acknowledges this is a firmware bug and will be corrected in a later update.

Oh, that is not even a surprise.

Does FW 23 seem to fix this?
