Is it possible to do send a MDC Kill/Enable/Check from a XTS 5000 III ? or does one need a console/control station ?

If one can, could you please enlighten me as to how to do it ?

I got a few odd looks and heckles for asking if I could protect my radio from kills/stuns etc and you are asking how to do it from a portable (likely fpp enabled) device. Expect some sour replies. This is a touchy subject for obvious reasons and that it is hard to filter the trash from the treasure just by talking to people over the net.
