So, I know a few of you are probably also using the DDDMS/MNIS solution on your systems.
While I have six or seven installs working well, (VLANs) I have one that will not work and I am wondering if I am alone ..
The system is the first I have done a DDMS/MNIS server in where the dealer used the the hairpin routing logic / design specified in the system planning guides.
Basically it's a two site LCP with the MNIS box sitting on the "public" subnet. An neither RM or the Data Applications want to work, and it appears from the various Wiresharks that the response packets from the radios are what's being lost.
Also, this system has no issues with Control Stations, but since they need GPS, and the subscriber population is in the area of 5K it's a little large for Control Stations to be a good long term.
TIA --
