Hello everyone! I'm having an issue and need some help or advice. I recently purchased my Motorola XTS5000 UHF Model III. The radio came fully loaded with FPP, Trunking, etc. I am trying to setup the radio to monitor and for a non-affiliate scan for my county's P25 trunking system. I've followed all the tutorials online for going about this process and seem to fall right back into the same issue. After I go into my Zone to assign the Personalities to the channel, I go to change the personality type to Trunking and it appears it is view only and does not allow me to change the field from conventional to trunking (as it has the glasses icon as I hover over the field). I'm not sure why it is doing this, after some research I believe it may have something to do with FPP, but I am unsure. I also disabled FPP for the Zone I am using for this setup, which is throwing me off more. Any and all help is greatly appreciated in this matter. Thank you!!
