Motorola DM4601 not following TPL tones

Hi!
I've ran into a nasty issue with my Motorola DP4601 (euro version of an XPR5550) It is upgraded to R02.30.13 and programmed with CPS 10.5.

It has 2 analog channels with the matching frequencies but different TPL tones. RX tones for these channels are programmed properly. RX unmute rule is set to AND/OR.

During operation it appeared, that radio would unmute to any transmission regardless of the TPL. In the end of transmission I hear turnoff claps as if I'm running a CSQ instead of a PL.

I tried all three unmute rules with no success at all. After that I decided to conduct a test: created an analog channel protected with TPL and tried to transmit on it with another radio with a known unmatching TPL. Result - the radio unmutes. So does it even without a TPL! The strangest thing is that my DP4601 portable (same firmware release and the same CPS) with the same setting works properly and only unmutes to the programmed PLs.

Honestly, I'm cornered with this! The only thing that comes to my mind is the way that older Waris radios (GP/GMxxx) series programmed. You could program TPLs properly, but the radio would run CSQ anyway because the corresponding personality type was set to unmute to Carrier Squelch. But DM radios do not have personalities! This bloody issue nearly renders my radio useless because I really need to designate 2 channels with the same frequencies!

Please help me and point out waht I'm missing!

Thanks in advance!
Alex

Looks like problem solved.
"General settings" -> "Off-hook disables PL" box must be unchecked in order for the TPL work properly (my radio is a desk unit)

Here's waht the help says:
Off-Hook Disables PL
If enabled, the Mobile unmutes to all channel activity when the microphone is off the hook. There will be no checking for Private Line (PL). This is a radio-wide feature.
