I just get a cheap Mototrbo CM7668 M28QPN9KD2AN UHF

Seller forgot CPS password and make it RADIO LOCKED after few attempt...

I tried to plug in programming cable infront the radio but it not detect the cable..

Please guide to fix the RADIO LOCKED & cable not detect issues.

Is there anyway to force firmware into the radio?

Thank You

The repeater programming cable works in the rear connector if this is the same board as a NA model.

Check the firmware version. If it old enough then you can easily read the codeplug password using Wireshark.
Otherwise, use the recover option.

Yes, even if the radio has a password lock, you can still read the Codeplug.

Its a newer firmware. Not working with wireshark

The front cable is an Impres cable which uses a 1-wire device to confirm it's authenticity. The rear cable is just a straight USB connection and much easier to deal with.

Well your only option here is to goto CPS > Device > Recover

If you can't recover then you need to contact Motorola for the recovery EID.

Problems are the radio cannot detect front programming cable (PTT can detect & works well) and now the radio shows "RADIO LOCKED".

Is that mean I can just get normal 4 wire usb cable and connect to back of radio without any circuits?

Make sure to get a legit cable. Otherwise, check if drivers are properly installed.

Yes, a 4 wire usb cable will connect right up to the radio rear accessory connector. Readily available cable sources are old usb mice/keyboards and printer cables.

There's a color coded pinout diagram somewhere on this site.

Its working with CPS, but Depot not recognised the radio.

I can upgrade firmware from R02.40 to R02.50.05, but cps password still there.

any idea?

Do you not read the rules? We did not discuss depot here.
