Motoroola MotoTRBO Gen1 RAS Error #1238

Hi all!

Any ideas how to fix this absolutely crazy appearance?

RAS does NOT exist, never haven't been there and I can't add it due to long period of time. When I press Add button I receive Error #1238.



CPS NA 13.0. But was 12.0/12.1 and it doesn't matter.

Could it be that the codeplug is corrupted? Do you have an older version of the codeplug to revert to?

I believe that It cannot be corrupted, because each block of codeplug has checksums checking (as well as entire CPG checking). Also I've checked all my codeplugs during 2 years and they are all the same. Excluding a few old ones that come from before-RAS era.

Sad news that Motorola don't allow us to downgrade radio or flash the same FW package as current. And I hate the idea to force anything via bootloader in factory aligned radio.

Great! I can confirm that. Issue solved.

If you are stuck and don't have the new software you can try to create a RAS system in a 7000 series archive and copy it into the GEN1 radio. That worked for the 6000 series we had to do prior to Moto fixing it.

FMROB is correct, that procedure does indeed work, used it on several GenI radios.
