Is there a way to export the contacts from CPS to a spreadsheet and then import them back in?

I have several model number templates with a large number of contacts in digital and MDC analog.

Right now it appears that I can only create the contacts and sort them inside the CPS program.

I'd really like to keep a master contacts list in a spreadsheet program and be able to import back into CPS when needed.

There isn't any way that I'm aware of, however you can drag and drop contacts from one codeplug to another.

If you DO figure it out, post a new thread, as many of us have this sticky problem. A lot of times I am bumping up against the maximums in contacts, channel pool, and everything else now when building codeplugs. Sure am getting tired of typing, and a file program that is able to be mangled with external software would be sweet.

Just so everyone knows you can export the contacts via Reports. Click save-as and choose mht. Then open that mht file with your browser, select the contacts and copy into excel. That is a nice feature to use when building inventory. But again, only one way...as you can't get them back in the codeplug.

Yeah, even Astro25 lets you export to ascii delimited and convert for the APX. Why Trbo won't paste some fields is super annoying, especially in Connect Plus.
