As of CPS 12.1 and current firmware, they are not valid entitlements. I know they show as available, but they do not work or activate.

When EP become paid option? Looks like I missed something. I've used it for free in both Gen1 and Gen 2 radios.

All that crap was free. I've never seen a gen 1 without CAP+ or EP. And all of it shows as free in the CPS. The only really "paid" thing in a gen 1 was CONN+. I see Motorola is going back to this crap again.

EP is a paid option on the lower tier 2.0 radios, like the XPR2500 etc.

Guys, some low-tier radios do not come with those features.

Some regions -- AS (Asia) for example come with pretty much nothing. Check out the default XiR P8668. (NA XPR 7550).

this will become more the norm with motorola and having to compete on price in the low and mid models.

there has been some discussion locally to compete with Chinese imports they are removing anything they can sell as an extra to save a dollar on sale price and only activate in the odd case when customer needs it. Also motorla are starting to bring onto some markets models which were seen in asia and south america which are classed as bare bones DMR radios into the local market here in Australia.

Does anyone have an update on the new EIDs for the 'e' series radios? I'm looking for part numbers specifically for Indoor Location Tracking, Authenticated Radio Disable and Transmit Inhibit. Firmware R02.60.03 seems to introduce these features.
