Live from CPE 2015 a new repeater is coming out in May. It's between a XPR8400 and MTR3000 and not two mobiles in a box. 1U Rackmount 1-50W VHF/UHF Analog/Digital.

I already posted a thread on this. The FCC accepted it a few months ago. Nice to see an actual production unit at the Expo. Now just waiting for software and our first order guidelines. We are going to order some first out to demo.

Just when you thought the 8400 fans were crazy loud. Can't wait to hear these jet turbines...

BTW, I really hope this or the APX8000 are not the revolutionary announcements they are hyping. = disappointing.

It is a nice looking unit from a service standpoint, it appears that the modular PA and power supply will be stocking FRUs for us along with the replaceable fans. I think there are three of them. Yes, I expect it will be loud. Gonna have to wait and see how that goes with some of our installations where the equipment is in the same room as the operators. (Casino security and surveillance mostly).
