How do you enter service mode on these to determine flashcode, firmware version, etc?

Giving it a shot more familiar with xtl5000/2500. Hit the circled deal on the volume knob 5 times. If not try hitting the furthest left lower button 5 times in row.

It's the same as the XTL1500
Soft key 3, then 4, then 3, then 4, then 3.

I figured they looked exactly the same, minus some cosmetic changes, so I tried the key sequence listen in the XTL1500 service manual and it worked.

They are similar in sense so I figured same just didn't know the sequence. Lol
