I'm trying to understand the how Priority Monitor functions. This would be on an affiliated 3600 system. If I have Priority 1 and Priority 2 assigned to Fixed members, and the radio is parked on a TG that's not a scan list member, does the radio listen for traffic on the two Priority members while traffic is active on the parked TG? My understanding was that the radio listens for sub-audible tones referencing the priority members on the voice channel and switch to the priority traffic if detected. This doesn't seem to be happening. Side-by-side with another radio parked on one of my priority members, the radio is not switching to the priority traffic when the parked TG is active...

My goal is obviously to be able to Tx/Rx on any selected TG while those two Priority Channels are constantly monitored (as much as is possible, of course).

Can I say "priority" one more time...? Sheesh...
