Problems with M5 XTL-2500 control heads

I have a couple of XTl-2500 control heads that when powered up come on for a few seconds and then go back off. I tested both heads with a different CHIB and there was no change, i also tested the CHIB's with a different control head and the CHIB's tested good. Had a friend pick these up at Dayton for what i thought was a good price of $50.00 each...

Hoping some as seen this issues before

Does anything show up on the display before they shut off?

Does the 3 colored LED's light up on the right side of the display when the power first comes on?

I think there is a FSB on a problem like this, but I could be getting symptoms confused as this was several years back.

Yes the 3 LEDS do come on and then go back out. Anyone know what the FSB # is
