Because on a IPSC system, the master repeater sets the RAS key.

Most (not all) IPSC systems are regional. If you're roaming, you need to use the same RAS key to access the system across the other sites.

Ok but the other repeater that is connected with mine is set to peer, that repeater is not able to use RAS in that mode.
Do they have to set that repeater also to Master? Can they connect correctly by internet than?

Is the other repeater flashed with the RAS feature in the codeplug?

What firmware version is the other repeater? It needs to be R02.20.02 or newer or RAS will not work.

Correct, the peer on IPSC does not need the RAS key set. Transmissions (from subscriber radios) coming in on your peer will authenticate with the master repeater (technically, the RAS key is cached in the peer, so it still works if there's a network outage).

All subscriber radios on a RAS network need to have the matching RAS key (same as what's programmed into the master repeater) set for the channel.

In subscriber radios, the RAS key is entered in the "security" tab in CPS, and then enabled on a per-channel basis, in your channel settings.

Mars is correct. ALL radios when interconnected if using RAS must have the entitlement. ONLY the master repeater will show the RAS feature as enabled, but ALL repeaters connected will use it, and once connected will force RAS on all subscriber units. Once mastered, if disconnected, RAS will still function in a peer until reconnected to the master.
