Refresh Keys

I was digging thru my desk today at work and i found 3 iButton usb units that when i checked them on XTL/XTS CPS them should me around 30 unsed refresh writes. are these usable still to write new firmware to the XTL and XTS radios i beat i have had these for 2 or 3 years and thought they had been all used up.


Would they work for APX radios as well??

The APX does not require a refresh key. So far firmware updates have been free.

Ok cool i have never had to do an firmware update on any apx radios yet.

Yes, a refresh key is a refresh key, no time limit (that I've seen).

And if your an Administrator with a Master ASK, you can reformat a used/empty refresh key into a child ASK that has no expiration.
