Sorry if I am asking two stupid questions.
1- I have a XTL 5000 with the 05 control head can I update or use the APX 07 control head?
2- I need to obtain a VHF XTL 5000 (low power) for a vehicle and I would perfer to have it with the 05 control head. I am finding radios but they have the older control head. If I buy an older XTL 5000 what do I need to make sure it has to be able to update the control head to the 05.
