XPR 4550 Region Issue

I recently purchased a UHF XPR 4550 (AAM27QPH9LA1AN) used from eBay in the hopes of programming it to work on DMR-MARC. Since I use this for Part 97 I have traditionally programmed with CPS 8.0 for 25 kHz support. This radio however came loaded with Firmware Version R01.12.02 and Codeplug Version 13.00.05. As my current CPS was too old to read this radio, I was able to upgrade my CPS to 10.7 in the hopes of loading the codeplug. However, now when I try to read the radio I get an "Error #1057: Region not support" message. Can anyone offer any advise for how to move forward from here? Thanks.

The CPS and radio have to be matching regions. CPS was released with only certain region support just as a radio is. If your CPS is not the same as the radio's region, then you will get the same error. So you might consider that. Does your CPS read other radios with the North American region? Determine if your radio or CPS is the incorrect region than your other radios, then you know what solution you need.

Also, CPS 11.0 (11.2) is current. You should download the newer version from your MOL account.

Ok, I tried it with one of my other radios and I am getting the same region error. Not sure why I would have the wrong region CPS when the last CPS worked fine. Is there anyway to check in the CPS to determine what region it supports? Thanks.
