Hi, I am curious if anyone has heard of a mod or workaround to permit a Mototrbo XPR 6580 (or the Canada IS version) onto a SmartNet trunking system, operating on NPSPAC frequencies? Many years ago I was able to put a MTX 8000 on a SmartNet system by hacking code with Hex editor. Not sure if something similar exists today. Or I could just buy an APX radio.......
