XPR - what other radios are accessory-compatible with 7550?

Having just gotten an APX7550 (actually still in the FedEx pipeline), obviously I'm in for a few Fleabay pages to get accessories, batteries, chargers, etc.

Since Big Bat model numbers are apparently assigned based on the most recent PowerBall results, I'm wondering what other models might use any of the same stuff. I don't trust the people selling used stuff to have the answers on this (I dealt with one "communications expert" seller who didn't seem all that sure of the difference between DC and blue light), I figure that a few of the people here will be more up to speed on this.

What other radios are in the same block as the 7550, so when I look through forum posts I'm looking at the right ones? I know of the 7350, is that the only other one in the series?

Do any other radios use the same accessory port, antenna, battery or charger?

Are there any aftermarket partsmakers which are worthwhile, and are there any which are Must Avoid?

Does anyone have any suggestions for a shoulder mic, or should I stay with Motorola on these?

Thanks,
Kaze

I think you mean an XPR not an APX.

Yep, I mean XPR, which I realized after sending this. I may have made similar errors one or two other places here. It will help when I have the radio to glance at and read the number. ;)

Dunno how I translated that to APX, it was probably from seeing references to APX7000 and just locking on the "7000" part.

Thanks! I hadn't even gotten as far down the list as the DMR forum. I spotted three letters, and posts with those letters followed by a "7"! What could go wrong? And I had the sun shining on the monitor. And I can probably find a few other excuses, too. ;)

Thanks for the link! It's a good start for the compatibility question.
