Picked up one each, XPR6500 and XPR6550 to play with.
CPS is 13.0 Firmware 1.12.17 Codeplug 13.02.03
The 6500 has had it happen once or twice a day. The 6550 had it happen only once after being used for a week. I was hoping it was isolated to just the 6500 so when the 6550 did it I thought i better put some effort into fixing this.
Im new to these particular devices so my question has anybody else had this happen to them?
NO matter what the volume of the radio is the noise will come though at what sounds like full volume and its a high pitched screech.
I did a quick forum search and didnt see anything similar to my issue.
I also tried recovery of the 6500 (saved tuning values prior so dindnt loose those) and within an hour of use it happened.
