Guys,

It appears that the PTT cover on my 7550 has broken. Do any of you service these enough to know what I need to repair this (outer housing shell only, etc.)?

The same thing happened to mine. I just put a small dab of crazy glue underneath. Unfortunately, you cannot order the part from Motorola, and a new housing is ridiculously overpriced.

Wow, that's actually a viable fix?

I see a small molded protrusion on the back of the PTT that matches a dimple in the rubberized under area. I assume that's a safe spot for the glue?

The fix that Mars suggests should work, at least from my experience doing similar fixes on other radios. You can also considering sending it into Motorola, if the unit happens to still be under warranty.

The radio was bought new in January of 2015, so I'm told it's still under warranty. I will most likely go the Depot route.
