I have a XPR7550 that apparently has development FW. I received it in a lot of other Motorola APX and TRBO radios.
There is a small label on the back of the radio with D02.02.07 written on it. The model # is AAH56JDN9KA1AN.
On the Versions screen, the FW Version is D02.02.07 and the CP Version 01.00.16.
I can read the radio in TRBO CPS, but it complains that I don't have the wideband EID installed. I have used ASTRO25 and APX radios exclusively so far, and I am working with Motorola to get a EID so that I can even edit the codeplug.
I have tried updating the FW in TRBO CPS with both the conventional option and the recovery option. Even in FlashZap (Ver: D02.02.01) there are no update packages in CPS, even after I have installed the latest (and older) upgrade packages.
Are these radios only doorstops (shame as I have a few) or are they salvageable?
