Hello Trbo experts. I have a questions, its long and complicated, but I am hoping there is some sort of solution out there.
So my question is this, can I program a portable/mobile radio to (freq for example): RX 153.000 TX 158.000 and program the repeater to: RX 158.000 TX 170.000 and the control radio to RX Only: 170.000
This would enable me to have a portable radio offload GPS data to multiple repeaters with the same RX freq, but then the repeater can repeat the GPS data to a control radio with a different RX as a receive only, this will enable me to have multiple control radios for multiple repeaters, I have a filter system to handle this. I just can seem to cheat the CPS system to make it work? Is it possible?
Do I need to use 2 channels in the repeater?
Is this similar to inventing a rocket ship?

- I have 3 sites that I want to use. (IPSC would be ideal but there are 2 hang ups.
- 2 of the repeaters are not connected via Ethernet, they are just to broadcast location data to the 3rd repeater to then send to control radios for processing.
- I need to scan an analog channel for talk purposes as this is what the area we are using the radio in requires
