A while back someone, somewhere told me that with R14 CPS it was possible to make the XTL 2500 do PL decode on channels that had MPL enabled.
It never worked for me. I can't tell the difference between R14 and R19 software. Checking the MPL box seems to make the channel default to CSQ no matter what.
I gave up because the system operates OK on CSQ but I wanted to revisit because some users have dual radios and when they transmit on one the other gives feedback being in CSQ mode.
Also I would like to explore the same idea for the XTS2500 but that is much less important.
Any ideas?
