I have a XTL 5k (7/800) currently in remote mount configuration with a O5 head. The radio has started to randomly reboot itself and today it threw an 09/10 error (radio does have a UCM in it). A couple of weeks ago it was in a dash mount configuration and this never happened. The only factors that have changed are coax, the wires for power, and coax. The antenna is the same (Maxrad 764-870 knob style antenna mounted on the roof with an NMO mount). The antenna was used before the conversion with a lip mount L bracket with different coax (RG-58 before and now on LMR-195). The rebooting didn't occur at first. Started happening a few days after the move. It replaced a UHF XTL and it never suffered from this issue.

Radio has latest firmware installed.

Issue happens on low and high power while transmitting. Has not happened when radio is affiliating with the system.


Any ideas? It's annoying not knowing where my radio left off on me in the middle of a conversation. :bang:
