XTL Draining Battery

I have some dash mount XTLs that I want to configure to turn on with a switch and with a switch only. I have them programed for ignition only power up and when I turn them off they still draw about half an amp on the constant power line. I have constant power on the two pronged plug and switched power at the accessory plug. Anybody know how to fix this? I have also tried programming for power on with control head only and still no luck.

I have a XPR4550 set up exactly like yours, & the car can sit for a week, & the battery is still fine. Half an amp is way too much draw. That being said, just use a common 5 pin automotive relay on the main power wire. GARY

How and where are you measuring the current draw?
