Hey, guys.

I've spent the better part of the day trying to get my second control head to play nice with a T-band XTL2500.

  • Both heads play nice with the radio when only one is connected and the programming is set back for a single control head- no error messages.
  • Radio was set up in CPS for two control heads.
  • I am unable to get either head into FPP mode (leftmost softkey+EMER button upon powerup) to change the CH ID.
  • Getting the 05/10 error code.
  • Had some success switching remote cables around (not sure if they're in order) but the radio acted extremely sluggish.

There's gotta be something I'm missing here.

Any ideas?

Ended up updating the firmware in both heads and everything is playing nice now.

You should make sure that the FW in the heads matches the version in the radio to avoid any further issues. Is your radio current? I don't know exactly what heads are up to, now, but a refresh might be in order if you haven't.
