XTL5000 and VRS - No keypress sound

Hi all!

I do have XTL5000 and VRS750 linked together. VRS works just fine. All tones enabled in XTL (TONES = ON). And all softkeys produce keypress sound just well (excluding 'VRS'). VRS is a dumb key! No difference if I turn VRS on or off. No sound, but VRS icon appear and disappear.

It's a feature or bug? Any way to solve this?

P.S.
I run on R20 firmware, use R20 CPS, CH version is R16, and VRS appears as 4200 version. Remote head config.

You did not say which control head you are using. If it is an O3 head the VRS will not work. You can set the VRS up in CPS and set a menu key but it will not work. For some reason Motorola decided that the VRS should not work with the HHCH. If its an O5 head it should work!

I am running the same configuration and I do not get a beep either... latest firmware on a remote XTL5000 O5.

Nope not alone, same issue here. Not sure how to fix.
