I'm looking to add a USB programming connection to the rear accessory port connector. Are there any MOL part numbers for ~5 pins? And does the HLN6863B part include pins? I'd rather spend a few $ more to get the whole connector as a spare!

Or, does anyone know part number for the pins from Digikey? I have to order some speaker molex housings and pins from them anyway.

FYI in case anyone else needs:

HLN6863B ACCESSORY CONNECTOR XTL5000 $34.10
3980034F04 (25 pack) TERMINAL,PIN,MALE,1CONT,STRAIGHT,TERMINAL MALE 18 THRU 20 GA $28.60

Are you referring to the 26-pin on the deck? They are standard D-Sub pins (DB-25, DB-9, etc.)

Yes, I am. Thanks for the heads up... I'm going to try to buy a few of those pins so I don't get gouged on MOL. :)

If you buy the basic connector kit which is the connector, plus speaker wires and ignition (red) wire with a fuse, it DOES come with a number of un-crimped and un-inserted pins for you to play with. Not very many, IIRC maybe 6 or 8 or so, but unless you are making something very special that might be enough to get you by.

Make sure you crimp these with the correct tool, and you should be familiar with single flag vs. double flag crimping tools. Crimping them with the wrong tool makes getting them out almost impossible.
