XTL5000 Consolette Fail 01/90

I have a consolette with a XTL5000 displaying Fail 01/90 on power-up.... If I replace the trunk/drawer mount unit with another XTL5000 in the same consolette all is well.... It appears the drawer/trunk unit has an internal power issue. Do these units have a internal fuse that may have simply blown ?
