Hi all!

I have been facing with imbalanced volume issue when scanning a zone with mixed P25 and analogue channels. P25 channels, incluging trunking and conventional, are very loud. But analogue channels are noticiebly quieter (probably twice by sound pressure). To make them sounds identically by volume, I should turn Vol pot +30-40% to the right for analogue transmitions. But when I receive any P25 digital audio with this new Vol pot position, radio is significantly louder than needed. And I reduce the volume. A vicious circle.

I checked CPS for possible RX AGC settings, but found nothing. Channel bandwith programmed correctly for analogue (so this is not an 12.5/25 kHz issue).

Any thoughts?

Firmware is fresh, R19 or R20. I can check exact version in few days. But does it really make sense?

I checked Astro25 firmware Release Notes from R19.00.00 to R20.50.05. But nothing about audio volume.
