Hi while programming the xtl5000,if I use the ''add record to end of table''and put 30 channels in zone 1 when I scan zone 1 will the radio scan all 30,or just the first 16..Thank you

Your scan list really has nothing to do with your zone channel assignment. You will only get 16 in your scan list, but they must be added to it, it does not automatically use the first 16 from your zone.
