Communications Support Forums

I have searched and the opinions on this seem to be varied. Is there any way to toggle a VIP out via a menu item or control button? Some ideas I have seen is using the F/R speaker control, horn ring control, etc. I know the Pyramid Smart Cable works off of the High Low Power button, any idea where it picks up that signal? I am trying to turn a VXR-1000 on and off without purchasing the smart cable.
