xts 5000 voice announcement issue

I understand this thread may already exist. But I believe my issue is somewhat unique. I have followed the directions on creating my wav files, exporting them, correct sample rate and bit rate etc.

But when I go to place the .wav files in the cps Patport voice folders, they don't exist. Does anybody know why I don't have those folders and/or where to place the .wav files so I can import and compress them to utilize the voice announcement features?

thank you

You can place them in any folder you wish (but I prefer to use an empty folder). When you go to Tools -> Voice Files -> Voice Files Compression, just click the Browse button next to Voice Files Input Location and select the appropriate folder. Ditto for the output location.

The files can be anywhere. Go to Tools -> Voice Files Compression and select the input and output directories.

Next. go to Tools -> User Settings and browse for the correct location of your compressed Voice Files -- this will be the location of the voice files CPS uses.

Okay, so I've selected my target folder with the .wav files under both voice files compression and voice file location.

I'm now getting the error "no valid files found, check import directory"
