Hello All,
I have a new-to-me XTS1500 that I bought off of eBay as a tech special. The tags seem to be legit.
Model: H66KDD9PW5BN
Serial: 687CLKxxxx
Flash: 1000010000007
It has two fail codes, a 2/90 and a 1/A0. The 2/90 error code indicates the DSP needs attention, however the 1/A0 is not in the DSM and Googleing it turned up no results. The error codes are not always shown, "self test" will sometimes flash on the display and sometimes the error codes are displayed, other times they will not no matter how long the radio is left on.
The radio does go into FlashZap, so the radio may be a chance yet, but I believe this will be above my pay grade.
The display shows:
FlashZap Bootloader
Version R03+50+00
Intel W18-B 8MB
User-forced Entry
RS-232 115+2 kbps
Ready to Download
My thought is someone may have tried to FlashZap this radio into something else maybe and it is now having a firmware fit so to say.
Anyone have some insight of what might be going on here?
