I hope I find a resolution. Him telling me what ver of cps tells me he's educated about it. What a shame and a waste of money if so. My backup option is, is it even possible to find the right model from a dealer standpoint. I am aware such details of prog are prohibited here (which I don't want). I just want to know if it is possible or some hope. I may even pay to fix it and trade it in because it isn't doing me any good. I was wanting to a 8meg to begin with well..

Okay so, I have decided to keep the radio. However to use it around the household etc. I am not paying 393 for a low flat rate fix. I can gamble again for that price for a better one knowing what to look for now. My goal is to at least get this radio sealed from dust/water resistant at the cheapest rate. I can't find much detail on it but, if I were to get 1585746D03 - Motorola COVER FRONT ASSY (MODEL 3, with a gasket. What all would it include? lcd, speaker, flex front keypad??
