Hello I have done a few searches and tweaks but I am still having trouble hearing my radio. Either internal speaker or external speaker mic. I am around high noise areas like a fire scene with diesel engines. I find my ht1250 louder than my xts. Most of the time on a call my volume knob is maxed out. I have messed with the rx treble settings +/- but no avail. For the channel it is a simulcast setup analog. For I do know when they first installed the system the tx volume offset on the repeater is -2dbm. Min-Max audio volume is 23-255. Is there any other thing that I'm overlooking that can improve the loudness? Or could there be somthing else wrong? Thanks in advance.
