XTS5000 800 RADIO not accepting new split frequencies HELP

Hi, maybe the radio is not capable of this split but I was under the impression it was.

Radio info:
XTS5000 800 mhz (i think all are 700/800)

H18UCH9PW7AN
540008-001487-7
firmware R20.00.01
tuning R01.08.00
dsp R19.50.00
psdt R04.00.00

Trying to add 769.05625 and a few others to the unit but when attempting to save the invalid bong plays and highlights the frequency as invalid.
Can anyone give me some ideas as to why this is happening?

Thank you for reading and I appreciate any help available!

Make sure that your Astro 25 Channel ID information programmed correctly. Use Channel ID 2 for 700 MHz, with Channel Bandwidth = 12.5 KHz, Transmit Offset = 30 MHz, Channel Spacing = 6.250 KHz, and Base Frequency = 762.00625 MHz.

Editing... brain fart on last post.

Set Tx Opt Transmit Deviation to 2.5 KHz for conventional operation. CPS should accept the frequency.

What exactly are you trying to do?

I guess this sort of answers my question, i was under teh impression that the XTS5000 did the 700/800 range as a whole, i guess that to put some of the 700 interop channels found here: https://www.dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/nifog-v1-4-resized-for-pda-viewing.pdf
would require a 700mhz ONLY radio then?

Does the APX cover the 700 & 800 range as referenced in the above link or would the 700 range require a dedicated radio?

Thanks!

Will try that now, but all i was trying to do was add some conventional channels into the radio for receive only personalities, radio currently on two trunked systems, and is a legit programmed radio, I am only adding some conventional modes the unit.

Oh good grief. There is no such thing as a 700 MHz only XTS5000. Do you have any idea what you are doing?

what I was meaning to say was a lower split model of 800, but disregard the whole issue, I missed the 2.5 as referenced previously. I appreciate the fast initial replies, and I am also not a NOOB so please excuse both of the brain farts referenced herein.
