XTS5000 Channel Announcement Volume

Hello All. I am in the process of setting up my XTS5000 with Channel Announcement. I've gotten it working with one issue. The channel announcement is extremely loud. Roughly three times as loud as the radio traffic. So in order to not go deaf, I have to turn the volume WAY down, but then I cannot hear the radio traffic coming in. Is there a setting I am missing? Some volume control that equalizes the volumes?

What do you have the minimum alert tone volume set to?

Under Radio Wide->Alert Tones, your Max Alert Tone Level is propably set to 255. Set it to your liking maybe around 100.
