XTS5000 Firmware

Hi,

I have a XTS5k M1 with a firmware version of r7, but it has been written with CPS 20.

I would like to know how to downgrade the codeplug to R7, so that I can read it with CPS R7, then "Flashzap" it to R14, and then again to r20.

No, you can't talk about depot CPS here. Please read the rules.

You are not going to get it to roll back to R7. You're going to have to find CPS 9, then you can use the CPS rollback utility we have published elsewhere on this site to get it to read with CPS 9, but that's as far back as you can take it without using special tools, etc.

I have a model 1. Is there anything different, since it does not have a screen?

No, there should not be any reason rollback won't work on a Model 1 type 5000, AFAIK.
